NEW INITIATIVES FOR THE CENTENARY YEAR

To mark the centenary the school administration is stepping up with concrete and concerted plans beyond external celebrations. Fr. Joe Andrew, the Rector and Correspondent, Fr. Michael, the headmaster, with their team plan to take advantage of the centenary to modernize the education in the campus. The administration is set to achieve a triangular preposition of online management of school, social thrust and a centenary memorial.

The Online school management will include administration, curriculum plan, Students Progress and parents-students teachers interface, library management, general announcements etc., that will assist the teachers and the parents for a better follow up and formation of students. A significant move is made towards a social cause. The school is preparing to revamp its social thrust in the campus. Along with it's efficiently run evening schools for the children of the slums, the school is planning to adopt villages to maximize education for all and economic upliftment of the underprivileged. On the anvil is also a centenary memorial auditorium to accommodate 2500 persons. The monument will be inaugurated at the conclusion of the centenary on 31st January 2008 to continue to remind us of its 100 years of history and beyond.
