(REPORT 2008 - 2009)

1. In the centenary inter-school competition held at St.Bede’s.

•  St. Bede’s - RUNNER’S UP

(Mast. Mathew Stephens was awarded best player of the tournament)

2. In the zonal level competition’s

• The super seniors
• Seniors Runners up (St. Bede’s)
• Juniors

3. St. Bede’s had also taken part in the A.I.S.C foot ball tournament conducted
by American International School - Chennai.

III – BASKET BALL

1. St. Bede’s Basket Ball team had participated in the centenary basket ball
tournament.

2. In the zonal level competitions:

•  Super – seniors
•  Seniors St.Bede’s (Winners)
•  Juniors

In the District level competitions, all the 3 teams secured 3rd Place.

3. In the A.I.S.C tournament conducted by American International School
Chennai:
St. Bede’s - Winners (for both the league and knock out round)

IV – VOLLEY BALL

1. St.Bede’s Volley ball team had participated in the centenary inter-school
Tournament.

2. In the zonal level competitions:

• Super – seniors - Winners
• Seniors - Runners – up

In the district level competitions both the team had participated.

3. St. Bede’s volley ball team had also participated in the Santhome Hr. Sec.
School volley ball tournament.

V – ATHLETICS

1. In the Inter – school Anglo Indian State level Athletic meet held at monfort
Anglo Indian Hr. Sec. School – Yercaud (Salem)

• St.Bede’s got the 2nd place beating St. Patrick’s school.

2. In the centenary Inter- School Athletic meet held at Nehru Stadium:

• St. Bede’s got over all 2nd place.

3. In the zonal level athletic meet:

• St.Bede’s were over all champions.
• And bagged all the individual championship.

4. In the district level athletic meet:

• St. Bede’s got over all 2nd place.
• And the junior individual championship award was given to St.Bede’s.

5. In the Divisional level Athletic meet, the following boys were the winners.

• V.B Pranav - 1st High Jump & 3rd 110 mts Hurdles.
• P.K Dharma - 3rd Javelin throw
• Sathish Kumar- 1st Javelin throw
• Vigesh Prabhu – 2nd 600mts &400 mts and 3rd Discuss throw.
• Junior Relay Team – got the 1st place.

6. Following individuals took part in the State – level Athletic meet at Karur.

• V.B PRANAV - XII (3RD PLACE IN HIGH JUMP- 1.88mts)

• RELAY TEAM JUNIORS.

VI – CHESS
