CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT ST. BEDE'S

Holy Mass:
The Christmas spirit of caring and sharing set in on December during the First Friday Holy mass that was animated by the students and teachers of Std. V. The meaning of Advent and the Symbolic meaning of Christmas was portrayed before the Mass. Many of the students offered new clothes, money, stationery items and useful articles to be given to the less fortunate children at Christmas.

Special Assembly:
On the 21st December a special assembly was held. The Primary School children enacted the Christmas story and the origin and the meaning of all Christmas symbols were explained to the children. Rev. Father Joe Andrew, our Rector gave a beautiful Christmas message to the gathering.

'Caring and Sharing':
All the articles collected during the academic year and the money contributed by the children for the 'Caring and Sharing Day' were distributed by Fr. Rector to these institutions as christmas Gifts.

1. Don Bosco - Kavarapettai, is a house for the run away children and Fr. Vincent SDB.
who is incharge, received the gifts for the children.
2. Don Bosco - Sagayathottam, an orphanage on the outskirts of the city.
3. Thalavadi - a social service organization.
4. The neighbouring corporation schools.
